E-fill™ Nickel Powders
Sulzer
Metco Canada has been making consistent high quality nickel powders for
over 35 years. Pure nickel powders are produced by pressure
hydrometallurgy. The nickel powders are precipitated from a solution of
nickel by the introduction of hydrogen gas at high pressure and
temperature. The high purity product is free of contaminants usually
found in pyrometallurgy.
Our
process enables the production of high purity nickel powders with a
99.8% metal content. The nickel powders produced are spheroidal with a
pebbly surface. By changing the process conditions it is possible to
modify and control particle shape and surface morphology. Nickel powders
from 20 to over 300 microns can be produced.
Product
1231 is a fine grade (95% -325 mesh) of pure nickel powder that has a
closely controlled particle size distribution. The 2726 material is a
low density alternative to pure nickel powders.
